Simone Biles Gives Fans an Honest Look at Her Surgery Journey

Simone Biles is opening up again, and this time she is sharing the real story behind her breast augmentation. The Olympic champion posted a video titled “Breast Augmentation Q&A,” where she explained the entire process. She talked about the implant size, the pain, and the emotional moments that came with recovery.

She confirmed she had the procedure on June 16 and chose Houston-based plastic surgeon Dr. Kriti Mohan. Simone went with 310cc high-profile, extra-filled silicone implants placed under the muscle so the results would look as natural as possible. She even joked that she thought about going bigger, but “the 330 would not fit.”

Her update comes after fans noticed the cherry emoji she dropped on Instagram. Many were already guessing she had undergone the procedure.

A Painful and Challenging Recovery After 310cc Implants

Although Simone felt confident about her size choice, recovery shocked her. She admitted she was not prepared for the level of discomfort. In her TikTok video, she laughed but kept it real, saying, “Y’all lied. This sh—t hurts. So bad.”

During the first day, she could not move by herself. Her husband, Jonathan Owens, had to lift her out of bed and help her get to the bathroom. Simone believes her strong, muscular build made the healing process even harder. She described the experience as “rough” and said the first few days were the most overwhelming.

The physical pain was only part of the struggle. Simone also felt unsure when she saw the early results. She explained that the implants sat extremely high, which made her panic at first.

A Scary First Look: ‘They Looked Like Aliens at First’

Simone did not expect the implants to sit so high on her chest in the beginning. She told fans she felt scared because they looked like they were “up to her neck.” She called Dr. Mohan in distress and asked if they could be removed.

She said they “looked like aliens at first,” which made her even more anxious. However, her surgeon reassured her that the look was temporary. The implants needed time to settle, and swelling would go down. Over the next days and weeks, that is exactly what happened.

Eventually, Simone saw the results she hoped for. With a laugh, she told fans, “Now they’re perfect.” Her experience shows how unpredictable the early healing phase can be.

Why Simone Chose to Be So Open About Cosmetic Surgery

Simone also spoke to People about why she is so transparent. She said honesty is part of her character. She wants to remain relatable to her fans and followers. “I’ve always tried to be open, honest and relatable,” she said.

She made it clear that she feels “no shame” about choosing surgery. This was a personal decision for her, and she enhanced a part of her body she already felt confident about. Simone believes in taking control of her own choices and encourages others to do the same without fear or judgment.

Her openness goes beyond beauty decisions. She has spoken publicly about mental health, marriage, and confidence. This moment adds to her long record of sharing truthfully and helping others feel less alone.

A Legacy Built on Strength, Confidence, and Transparency

Simone Biles has inspired millions through her athletic achievements. But she has also shaped conversations around honesty and self-care. Her willingness to talk about sensitive subjects shows her ongoing commitment to empowering young women.

Whether she is on the gymnastics floor or speaking directly to fans, Simone continues to lead with courage. Her candid story about surgery recovery proves she is still setting her own rules and owning her journey with confidence.
