Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles didn’t just shine on the gymnastics floor during the 2024 Paris Olympics—her beauty game was equally on point. As she soared to victory, she made sure her look matched her world-class performance, blending athletic prowess with a flawless beauty routine.

Building a Skin-First Routine for Peak Performance

Before she even set foot in Paris, Jordan Chiles prioritized her skincare. She knew the importance of looking her best under the bright lights. “When I’m in the gym and really working hard for hours a day, I tend to keep my makeup routine light and easy,” she shared. Her go-to product? Fenty Skin Total Cleans’r. This cleanser helped her manage oily skin, a common concern for athletes.

To tackle hyperpigmentation, Chiles turned to Bliss Bright Idea Vitamin C Serum. This serum, designed to reduce dark spots, became a staple in her routine. Chiles emphasized the importance of skin-first products, especially for women with darker skin tones. “I knew I was going to be on TV, and I wanted to look and feel my best,” she said, underscoring the need to invest in skincare.

Glam in the Olympic Village: A Signature Look

Once she entered the Olympic Village, Chiles didn’t hold back on her glam. “If I am competing, or if one of my girls on Team U.S.A. is competing, I will do a full glam look,” she revealed. Her makeup routine, which started with mascara and eyebrow gel during practice, stepped up a notch during competitions.

Chiles’s signature competition look included white and black eyeliner, concealer, and a bold dark red lip. This was a far cry from her earlier days, where she struggled to love her skin and makeup. “It took me a while to really love my beauty, love my skin, and love makeup,” she admitted. But now, she can’t imagine competing without her full glam.

Nails That Dazzle and Compete

Chiles’s attention to detail extended to her nails, which became a focal point of her Olympic style. “Nails have become such a fun thing that me and my teammates do,” she said. Chiles, along with fellow gymnasts Simone Biles and Suni Lee, showcased their long, intricately designed nails at the games.

For the Olympics, Chiles chose a patriotic twist on the classic French tip. Her nails featured textured tips in red, white, and blue, reflecting her Team U.S.A. pride. “Before big competitions and especially before the Olympics, I like to get a fresh set and bring out my personality on my nails,” she explained. Her nail game, much like her gymnastics, was nothing short of world-class.

Recovery and Reflection: Celebrating Success

After her Olympic victories, Chiles didn’t just focus on the next competition—she took time for recovery. “I cherish being part of this moment with every brand I’ve collaborated with, as they have helped me deepen my understanding of beauty,” she said, reflecting on her partnerships with beauty brands like Bliss World.

Now, Chiles is focused on taking care of herself both inside and out. “Right now, [that means] making sure I’m taking care of myself physically, emotionally, and mentally,” she emphasized. For Jordan Chiles, beauty isn’t just about looking good; it’s about feeling good and maintaining balance as she continues to soar in her gymnastics career.
