Two hours outside of Atlanta, a new farm resort is representing a new blueprint for #agritourism with Black women in mind. The proposed site for CAFE City has plans for the 1,500 acres to include a commercial district, camping and hunting grounds, and a residential district.

Cafe City is envisioned as a safe haven for Black women regardless of their socioeconomic background. Since the peak of the pandemic, Black women show to rank highest in rates of residential and commercial eviction. Queen Everlena Brown de Thiam and her team want to change that.

Don’t know what that is? We got you. In a nutshell; Agritourism intertwines tourism with agriculture or processing – Think, Farmer’s markets, Pumpkin patches, and creameries- generating income for small business owners, farmers, and ranchers and the ability to educate visitors.

Starting at $100, CAFE CITY Housing Initiative offers key access to Cafe City, 3 #free nights, valued at $500 and serves as a generator of generational wealth – $1,000 sub ownership, parent ownership is invite only).

Would you invest? Are there farmer’s markets hosted where you live? Thoughts? #BWLM💕
