Wake Forest Law Presents Judge Loretta Copeland Biggs With ‘Doctor Of Laws’ Honor

Wake Forest University School of Law presented United States District Court Judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, Hon. Judge Loretta Copeland Biggs with #DoctoroftheLaws Sunday, May 15th. Honorable Judge Biggs was the guest speaker for the class of 2022; they are also the first #pandemic class to come out of #WakeForest.

On September 18, 2014, President Obama nominated Biggs to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina
Bigg’s confirmation came on December 16, 2014, when her nomination was approved by the State Senate, on a voice vote.

She has been appointed and served on seven (7 is the good number of completion) different governmental and political commissions and boards in the state of North Carolina.
