Venus Williams is helping the next generation build successful careers through a new partnership with digital coaching platform EZRA. The tennis legend and entrepreneur has joined the company to provide 1,000 young professionals with free access to personalized AI-powered career coaching.
The initiative, called The Gift of Coaching, aims to make professional coaching available to people who may not normally have access to it. Applications for the program are now open, giving early-career professionals a chance to receive expert guidance at no cost.
Venus Williams and EZRA Expand Access to Career Coaching
EZRA announced that selected participants will receive complimentary access to EZRA Coach, an AI-powered platform that delivers personalized one-on-one career coaching. The program is designed to help young professionals grow with confidence as they begin their careers.
Traditionally, professional coaching has been reserved for senior executives and employees at large companies. However, this initiative seeks to remove that barrier. Instead, it gives early-career workers the same development opportunities that experienced leaders often receive.
Venus Williams Explains Why Great Coaching Can Change Lives
Williams said she knows from personal experience how valuable the right coach can be. Throughout her career, she has benefited from guidance that helped shape her success both on and off the tennis court.
“You don’t realize, when you have a really great coach, how much that can change your life and your world.”
She compared a great coach to a life-changing teacher who opens new possibilities. Williams added that young professionals need this support the most because they are still finding their path. That is why she said she is proud to partner with EZRA on the initiative.
Free AI Career Coaching Focuses on Leadership and Confidence
Participants in the program will receive coaching tailored to their personal goals. Areas of focus include career advancement, leadership development, communication skills, confidence-building, and goal setting.
The announcement comes as many young workers increasingly seek career advice online. According to the company, a recent survey found that 94% of young professionals have turned to social media for career guidance. Unfortunately, that trend has negatively affected many people’s job prospects. As a result, EZRA hopes to provide more reliable and personalized support.
EZRA Says AI Will Support, Not Replace, Human Coaching
EZRA Founder and CEO Nick Goldberg praised Williams for being an inspiring role model. He said she has spent her career breaking barriers through sports, business, and advocacy for equal opportunity.
“Venus has spent her career redefining what leadership looks like, from winning on the court to building businesses and advocating for equal opportunity.”
Although the platform uses artificial intelligence, EZRA says technology will not replace human coaching. Instead, AI helps deliver personalized development plans, useful feedback, and accountability at scale. The company believes this approach can make high-quality coaching available to many more people.
Applications for The Gift of Coaching program are now open for eligible young professionals who want to strengthen their careers through expert guidance.
