Coco Gauff is stepping into a fresh chapter with Miu Miu Beauty. The tennis champion, who is the highest-paid Black female athlete today, recently became the new U.S. ambassador for the Miutine Eau de Parfum. Her partnership highlights not only her love for fragrance but also her commitment to self-care and confidence, both on and off the court.

Coco Gauff’s Miu Miu Fragrance Partnership Explained

Gauff’s fragrance journey with Miu Miu began after a long-standing relationship with the fashion house. Earlier this year, she worked on a Miu Miu x New Balance collaboration. Then, in October, she officially stepped into her new role as the face of Miutine perfume.

She says this new chapter feels natural. “Miutine is a representation of me and the season that I’m in right now,” Gauff explains. Shooting her first Miu Miu campaign on a tennis court in Florida made the moment even more meaningful. It reminded her of home while allowing her to express a different side of her personality.

Moreover, Gauff sees this partnership as a chance to grow beyond tennis. She enjoys exploring style and beauty in a way that still feels true to her spirit.

Miutine’s Scent Notes and the Childhood Memory Behind It

The first time Gauff tried Miutine, the scent instantly took her back to childhood. She laughed as she admitted, “I used to steal my mom’s perfume all the time.” Her mother preferred strong, mature fragrances, which young Coco didn’t always love. Yet, there was one light perfume her mother gifted her. That memory makes Miutine feel familiar.

Miutine comes in a timeless bottle with Miu Miu’s signature black-over-white logo. When the cap comes off, the scent reveals its Chypre base. Gauff enjoys its mix of brown sugar, vanilla, strawberry, oak moss, and patchouli. “It’s confident, but effortless and has a little bit of sweetness to it,” she says.

These notes also represent the balance she aims for in her life—strength, softness, and depth.

How Coco Uses Fragrance as a Daily Ritual

Gauff reaches for Miutine during many quiet, personal moments. “I’m one of those people who puts on perfume before they go to sleep,” she shares. The scent helps her unwind after long days of training or travel.

She also uses Miutine before stepping onto the court. Her beauty routine is simple: sunscreen, clean skin, and a light spritz of fragrance. She avoids overspraying during matches but adds just enough so she can smell it during play.

This small ritual boosts her confidence. It reminds her to stay calm, stay present, and trust herself.

Beauty, Confidence, and Mental Strength On and Off the Court

Gauff believes a strong mind is just as important as a strong body. She says a good training session, a great outfit, or a scent she loves can change the way she carries herself. “When I feel good internally, I view myself differently,” she explains.

However, like many young women, she has days when she doesn’t feel her best. On those days, she focuses even more on caring for her spirit. She journals, reflects, and spends quiet time alone. “Sometimes when you’re always on the go, you forget to take moments of solitude,” she adds.

These habits help her stay grounded as she prepares for her first tournament of the new season in January.

Rest, Reflection, and the Power of Slowing Down

Although Gauff is on holiday break, she remains dedicated to intentional rest. She knows that constant pressure can drain even the strongest athletes. So, she takes small breaks to breathe and reconnect with herself.

Skincare, journaling, and quiet reflection form her reset routine. They remind her that confidence is built from the inside out. This balanced approach keeps her focused and powerful as she heads into another busy tennis year.

Her message is clear: self-care is not a luxury—it is a strength.
