Gabrielle Henry Receives Care After Shocking Stage Fall

Gabrielle Henry, Miss Universe Jamaica, is recovering after what pageant organizers described as a “major fall” during the preliminary evening gown round of the 74th Miss Universe competition in Thailand. She slipped while walking in a bright orange gown and high heels, then fell from the front of the stage as the audience gasped.

Video shared online shows Henry confidently posing at center stage before turning and losing her balance. People rushed to her side within seconds, helping her off the floor as the show paused in concern. The fall surprised many viewers who praised her elegance throughout the competition.

Soon after the incident, the Miss Universe Jamaica Organization confirmed that Henry had been taken for urgent medical evaluation in Bangkok. They explained that she fell from the main stage and needed immediate attention to ensure her safety.

Medical Team Confirms No Life-Threatening Injuries

The organization later shared an important update. They stated that Henry was rushed to Paolo Rangsit Hospital, where doctors confirmed she did not suffer any life-threatening injuries. However, medical staff are continuing tests to ensure she fully recovers before returning to competition activities.

Miss Universe Organization President Raúl Rocha also visited the Jamaican contestant in the hospital. He expressed relief after meeting her and her family.

I was there with her family and her, and thankfully, there are no broken bones and she is under good care,” Rocha said. He assured supporters that the Miss Universe team in Thailand will continue helping Henry throughout her recovery.

Rocha also communicated with the Jamaica national team, promising complete support as they monitor her health in the days leading up to the finals.

Competition Tension Grows as Organizers Manage Multiple Issues

Henry’s fall came during a tense moment for the Miss Universe competition. Earlier in the week, Miss Mexico, Fatima Bosch, said she felt “singled out” and criticized by pageant executive Nawat Itsaragrisil at an official gathering. Bosch and several contestants walked out of the room in protest.

Rocha later apologized to Bosch, calling the behavior “unacceptable.” This added to the pressure surrounding the event, which is already highly competitive and emotional for the women involved.

Despite the stress, pageant staff say that the contestants have been supporting one another. Henry’s accident brought contestants and team members together, with many sending messages of encouragement and prayers online.

Jamaica Team Encourages Prayers and Positivity

Although the fall was frightening, organizers say Gabrielle Henry is staying positive. The Miss Universe Jamaica team asked fans to “stay upbeat, lift her in prayer, and send positive thoughts as she receives the necessary medical care.”

They also expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of love flooding social media. Supporters worldwide have been sending messages wishing Henry strength, comfort, and a quick recovery.

As Henry continues medical tests and observations, her team remains hopeful that she will feel strong enough to attend the Miss Universe finals this weekend. Fans across Jamaica and the Caribbean continue cheering her on, proud of her courage and grace under pressure.
