Teyana Taylor Joins NBA YoungBoy’s Tour as Creative Director
Teyana Taylor has been announced as the creative director for NBA YoungBoy’s upcoming arena tour. The multi-talented performer and entrepreneur will oversee choreography, styling, and the overall stage experience.
Her production company, The Aunties, which she co-founded with her partner Coco, is taking the lead on the project. Taylor confirmed the news during a livestream with Kai Cenat, where she shared details about the collaboration.
The Aunties Bring All-Female Creative Power
Taylor explained that her company offers full creative services, including directing, choreography, and styling. She noted:
“Well, you know I have an all-female production company called The Aunties. Me and my partner Coco started that company and we creative direct. We creative direct, choreograph, style. It’s like the whole 360, we do everything. So we jumped on the creative for YB.”
The partnership will support NBA YoungBoy’s “Make America Slime Again” tour as it travels to arenas across the United States. Guest performers will include Offset, NoCap, and others.
Experience With Creative Direction
This is not Taylor’s first time leading a major production. She has previously directed creative work for artists such as Summer Walker and Lil Baby. Her reputation in choreography, styling, and live performance management has made her a sought-after collaborator.
As creative director for NBA YoungBoy, Taylor will once again bring her experience to large-scale arena audiences. The tour will mark one of the rapper’s biggest stage productions to date.
Teyana Taylor’s Career Beyond Music
Although Taylor announced her retirement from music in 2020, she has remained active in the entertainment industry. Most recently, she released Escape Room, a visual album paired with a short film co-starring actor Aaron Pierre.
Her work continues to expand across multiple sectors, from music and film to creative production. With The Aunties, Taylor has built a business focused on creativity, collaboration, and full-scale artistic direction.
Balancing Personal and Professional Life
Alongside her professional projects, Taylor has spoken publicly about her personal life. She confirmed her relationship with actor Aaron Pierre earlier this year, describing their bond as supportive and nurturing.
“People are preying on the health that you are building,” Taylor said in a Hot97 interview. “What me and Aaron have is very healthy, gentle, soft, and very kind, sweet, warm, and one of the best feelings I’ve ever had. It’s so safe, and I don’t want us to be robbed of that. I am so grateful for him and everything that comes with him.”
While she continues to build her personal life, Taylor also remains focused on professional growth. Her role with NBA YoungBoy’s tour reflects her expanding presence behind the scenes in music and live entertainment.
