Beyoncé Stars in Levi’s New Ad Inspired by a Denim Classic

Beyoncé has teamed up with Levi’s once again, and the result is nothing short of iconic. The global superstar lights up the screen in Levi’s latest ad titled “Refrigerator,” which dropped on April 14.

This new commercial pays tribute to Levi’s original 1988 “Refrigerator” ad. Beyoncé brings her signature Southern charm, boldness, and Cowboy Carter flair to the updated version. Dressed in classic Levi’s pieces, she walks out of a steamy roadside diner like a woman in full control of her power and identity.

Bold Fashion and a Vintage Americana Vibe

Beyoncé rocks a crisp white tank, Levi’s Iconic Western Shirt, and the famous 501® Original Shorts. A red bandana wrapped around her hair finishes the look, tying it to a classic Americana aesthetic.

The ad mixes old-school Levi’s style with Beyoncé’s fresh take on Black Southern culture. It also celebrates her ongoing Cowboy Carter era, a bold blend of rebellion, tradition, and self-expression. Every frame of the ad highlights her ability to honor history while creating something new.

A Cameo That Connects Music and Fashion

Willie Jones, a collaborator on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, makes a surprise appearance in the commercial. His cameo strengthens the ad’s connection to the music and message behind this era of her work.

This isn’t just a fashion ad—it’s part of a larger story Beyoncé is telling about Black identity, country music, and legacy. The commercial shows how her world of music and style continues to expand and inspire.

Instagram Buzz and A Strong Campaign Rollout

Before the full ad aired, Beyoncé posted teaser images from the shoot on Instagram. Her caption, “Levii’s Ch. 3,” hinted at this being the third part of her collaboration with Levi’s, following previous ads Launderette and Pool Hall.

Each of these ads shows a different side of Levi’s story—from its roots in rebellion to its deep connection with music. Beyoncé’s touch adds power and purpose, making denim more than just fashion—it becomes a message.

Beyoncé and Levi’s Keep Making Cultural Magic

Levi’s and Beyoncé have created something that feels both classic and new. With “Refrigerator,” they continue to blend fashion, music, and culture in a way that resonates deeply with fans, especially Black women and girls who see themselves in her strength and creativity.

As her Cowboy Carter tour approaches, this ad builds excitement not only for the music but also for the movement Beyoncé represents—one of pride, identity, and unstoppable style.
