A Young Talent Takes the Internet by Storm

A three-year-old Ghanaian girl has captured the internet’s attention with her impressive hairstyling skills. Lordina Nancy, affectionately called “Serious Madam,” is already braiding hair with remarkable precision. Despite her small hands, she styles hair with the confidence of a seasoned professional.

Her mother, Aminu Yahaya, runs a hair salon where Nancy often lends a helping hand. What started as innocent play has now turned into a viral sensation, drawing customers eager to see her work. “Because of my daughter, plenty [of] people come here,” Yahaya told BBC Pidgin. “[They see us] on social media and [want] to come to us.”

Natural Talent Shines Through Practice

Nancy’s talent surfaced unexpectedly. One afternoon, after taking a nap, she picked up hair strands and started braiding a client’s hair. To her mother’s surprise, she did it effortlessly, without any formal training.

“We [were] shocked to see how she braid [the] client hair,” Yahaya shared. “We no teach [her], she just start all by herself.” Since then, Nancy has balanced school, play, and hairstyling, showing dedication beyond her years.

A Growing Clientele and Online Fame

Word about Nancy’s skills quickly spread, drawing more attention to her mother’s salon. The young stylist has also gained a strong social media following, where videos of her braiding have gone viral. Customers now visit the shop specifically to have their hair done by the gifted toddler.

Nancy’s work includes detangling, parting, and braiding, proving she understands the full hairstyling process. She might be small, but her talent is undeniable. Many believe she has a bright future in the beauty industry.

Education Comes First

Despite her growing fame, Nancy’s mother insists that education remains the priority. Yahaya wants her daughter to have the freedom to explore different career paths while continuing to support her hairstyling passion.

“As a mother, I support [her] to go to school,” she said. “When she grow[s] and make[s] a career choice, I go support her.”

For now, Nancy continues to impress clients, inspire aspiring young stylists, and prove that talent knows no age. With her natural ability and growing experience, the world might just be witnessing the rise of a future hairstyling icon.
