As highlighted in a recent news release, the fund leverages Avenue Capital’s extensive experience in structured debt and equity investments, alongside their international expertise and robust industry connections. Founded in 1995 by Marc Lasry and Sonia Gardner, Avenue Capital boasts a strong track record as a leading credit investor with approximately $12.5 billion in assets under management.

Candace Parker’s Leadership and Vision

Candace Parker, a WNBA icon and pivotal advisor to Avenue Capital, brings invaluable insights and leadership to the fund’s mission. Recently appointed as President of Adidas Women’s Basketball, Parker’s role signifies a deep commitment to advancing women’s sports through innovation, representation, and increased access to opportunities.
