BET Announces Taraji P. Henson as 2024 BET Awards Host
Today, BET announces that Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actor, author, director, producer, and philanthropist Taraji P. Henson will return to host the BET Awards 2024 LIVE from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. This will be Henson’s third time hosting the prestigious event, showcasing her vibrant personality and charisma.
“I am thrilled to be returning as the host of the ‘BET Awards’ for the third time,” said Henson. “I am also looking forward to celebrating my peers and the impact of our culture on entertainment.”
Usher to Receive Lifetime Achievement BET Award
In addition to Henson’s hosting duties, Grammy award-winning global entertainment icon Usher will be honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement BET Award. This recognition celebrates Usher’s remarkable contributions to the music industry and his lasting impact on Black culture.
The BET Awards 2024 will feature a star-studded performer lineup, including previously announced acts such as GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, and Victoria Monét. These incredible talents will take the stage to deliver an unforgettable night of entertainment.
Drake Leads Nominations with 7 Nods
Drake leads the BET Awards 2024 nominations with an outstanding seven nods. The official nominees were selected by a voting academy of esteemed music industry insiders, performers, and presenters.
