From her humble beginnings as a bored finance executive to her current role as a trailblazing advocate, Johnson’s journey speaks to the power of ambition and resilience.

Forging a Path in Tech Entrepreneurship

“I never saw myself working in tech as an employee. I saw myself building tech,” Johnson explained.

In 2013, at the tender age of 23, Johnson made the bold decision to leave her comfortable banking career at CitiBank. She was driven by a relentless desire for greater impact and challenge. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of her remarkable journey into the tech industry.

Launching CoSign: An Innovative Image Recognition Company

Johnson’s entrepreneurial spirit shone through as she meticulously planned and executed the launch of her first tech company, CoSign. This image recognition company, specializing in social commerce, allowed users to tag products within their social media uploads, revolutionizing the shopping experience.

Despite facing numerous obstacles, including securing adequate funding, Johnson persevered. Leveraging her financial services background, she raised an impressive $1.4 million over three years to fuel CoSign’s growth.
