‘The Other Black Girl’ is a captivating series which explores the complexities of identity, race, and workplace dynamics. Based on Zakiya Dalila Harris’ bestselling novel, the show follows Nella Rogers, a young Black woman working in the publishing industry.

Nella’s world is turned upside down when another Black woman, Hazel-May McCall, joins the company. Initially excited about having a fellow Black colleague, Nella soon realizes that Hazel-May’s intentions may not be as genuine as they seem.

As the plot unfolds, the series delves into themes of competition, micro aggressions and the struggle for authenticity in a predominantly white workplace. ‘The Other Black Woman’ fearlessly confronts the subtle and overt racism that exists within corporate environments, shedding light on the challenges faced by Black women.
