Earlier this month, we reported that #ABlackLadySketchShow, created by @RobinThede, was canceled after 4 seasons.
The show crafted the world from a Black woman’s point of view with sketches that challenged traditional expectations and thrived on relatable themes and earned 13 Emmy nominations, among three historic wins for editing and directing.
Now, Robin has given her show another way to live on by donating the entire wardrobe that was used during the production of the show!
She donated new and once-worn clothing, shoes, makeup, wigs, and more to a nonprofit called @beauty2thestreetz whose mission is to provide meals, clothing, human connection and “spiritual CPR” to people who live on skid row.
