#KekePalmer has been glowing lately since embracing her new mommy figure; everyone loves it. The new mother opened up recently about being self-conscious after giving birth and embracing her new shape.
“After having my baby, I’ve just gotten so much more powerful. I’m just so strengthened in a crazy way. Strutting my stuff, enjoying,” Palmer, 29, said in an interview with The Cut.
Palmer revealed that before she welcomed son Leodis Andrellton, now five months, with boyfriend Darius Jackson, she was always “trying to be on point” regarding her physical appearance.
“I’ll be honest; I think before I even had the baby, I was really actually quite self-conscious.”
The same day Palmer’s boyfriend attempted to humiliate her online for her revealing outfit, the 29-year-old spoke to The Cut about her mental headspace.
When Palmer wore a sheer outfit to see Usher in concert, Jackson took to Twitter.
“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” he wrote, adding that Palmer’s outfit went against”standards and morals” he believes in.
People reacted swiftly, dragging Jackson across social media for shaming the mother of his child, calling him “insecure” and “embarrassing.”
Palmer was asked what advice she has for the other moms championing her online right now.
“Girl, if there’s one person on this earth that loves you for sure, it’s that baby,” she said. “Be happy because there’s no love like it. Somebody loving you like that, hell, who cares?”
