Ex-Minneapolis police officer Thomas Lane has been sentenced to three years for his manslaughter charge in the murder of George Floyd.

He is already serving a two-and-a-half-year federal sentence for violating Floyd’s civil rights.

Floyd’s family asked for the max. 10 years, but he took a plea deal. Prosecutors said he could serve it concurrently with his federal sentence. #BWLM💕#JusticeForGeorgeFloyd#SayHisName
