Now, the Queen of Hip Hop Soul has received a huge honor from The City of Atlanta! Mary J. was bestowed with ‘Strength of a Woman’ day last Thursday on the eve of her Strength of a Woman summit and festival in Atlanta. The 3-day event was purposed to empower, educate and elevate women of color.
City Councilwoman Keisha Sean Waites presented the award to MJB as 2 Chainz, Kandi Burruss, celebrity stylist Misa Hylton and music exec Kenny Burns attended.
