As we settle into Q2 this month, the numbers have been officially tallied for the highest-paid CEOs in the U.S. and #SpelmanCollege alumna #RosalindBrewer has ranked in at number 14!
In addition, she’s the highest-ranking woman on the list, earning a whopping $28.3 million in 2021, $20.2 million of which was from stock awards.
Brewer was appointed to the CEO position at Walgreens just last March. Just before that, she had been named COO and group president of Starbucks. She was the second-highest-ranking executive at Starbucks after CEO Kevin Johnson and the first African American, as well as the first woman to become Starbucks’s COO and group president.
Now that she’s the chief executive officer at Walgreens Boots Alliance, Brewer is the only Black woman leading a Fortune 500 company!
Go, girl! *Martin Voice* #BWLM💕
