President Biden made history today after he signed the #EmmettTillAntilynchingAct into law, designating lynching as a federal hate crime!
The bill was introduced by Illinois Congressman #BobbyRush and was passed the in the House earlier this month by a vote of 422-3. However, it passed the Senate with unanimous consent.
There have been over 200 tries over the last 100 years to get a bill like this signed into law. Better late than never! ✊🏾 #BWLM💕
