Looks like President #JoeBiden is moving full speed ahead to fulfill one of his campaign promises: appointing a Black woman to the Supreme Court for the first time in the history of the United States.
The impending retirement of Supreme Court associate justice #StephenBreyer has opened the door for Biden to make good on his promise and according to @CNN, he plans to nominate #KetanjiBrownJackson!
For some time now, Jackson has been considered to be the front runner of Biden’s choices. She currently sits on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, having replaced Attorney General, #MerrickGarland, in June 2021.
We can expect a formal announcement in the coming days. This is so iconic! #BWLM💕
