Simone Biles says three men in masks came to her house during her family’s last months in the Chicago area and took her Porsche.
“During our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche,” the Olympic gymnast said in a TikTok video. “Stole the GTS.”
She said the car was recovered and that she is onto the next one, and that she planned to buy a new car. She did not say when the theft happened, and said she would talk about it in more detail later.
The Porsche GTS is a six figure car. Models in that line run from about $95,000 to more than $200,000.
The family has since left the Chicago area. Biles and her husband, the NFL player Jonathan Owens, moved out of the rented house in February 2026, and she has been at their home base in Texas since. Owens played for the Chicago Bears last season and now plays for the Indianapolis Colts.
One detail in the video says more than the car does. “That is one of the reasons why we also got our Doberman,” Biles said.
She framed the whole of it as material. “The things that happen to me are absolutely insanity,” she said. “And so it would be really easy for producers to just film regularly.”
That is a joke with a floor under it. Biles is the most decorated gymnast in the history of her sport, a woman whose public life has been built on control, preparation and knowing exactly where her body is in the air, and three men still walked up her driveway and drove off in her car.
She told it herself, in her own words, with a joke on top and no request for sympathy underneath. There is a version of this where a woman keeps a thing like that to herself, because saying it out loud invites everybody’s opinion about her house, her money and her security. She said it anyway, kept the Doberman, and went home to Texas.
