Beyoncé has taken her haircare brand Cécred into a new international market with its official launch in the United Kingdom.

The brand has partnered exclusively with British beauty retailer Space NK, giving UK customers access to Cécred products through Space NK stores and its website. The launch marks another major step in Beyoncé’s growing beauty business.

Cécred announced the UK arrival through an Instagram video showing its products traveling across the Atlantic. The brand also welcomed British customers with a simple message: “UK, get ready to make space!”

The move gives Cécred a new customer base outside the United States. It also shows how the brand is moving beyond its early direct-to-consumer model and building a wider retail presence.

Beyoncé’s Cécred Makes Its UK Beauty Market Debut

Cécred’s UK launch puts Beyoncé’s haircare company in front of beauty shoppers in one of the world’s major beauty markets. Through its exclusive partnership with Space NK, customers can now shop the brand through a well-known beauty retailer with stores across the UK and an online platform.

The expansion also comes as Cécred continues to build its identity as more than a celebrity-backed beauty line. Since its launch, the company has worked to establish a wider presence in retail while focusing on products designed for different hair types and textures.

For Beyoncé, the UK launch adds an international dimension to a business that has already gained attention in the US. The Space NK partnership therefore gives Cécred another opportunity to connect with customers while expanding its reach beyond its home market.

Cécred Built Its Haircare Brand Around Hair Strength and Care

Cécred first launched in 2024 with an eight-piece Foundation Collection. The collection was built around what the company calls keratin recovery technology, with products designed to moisturize, strengthen and improve shine across different hair types and textures.

The brand has also continued to expand its product range. In 2025, Cécred moved beyond its original haircare products and introduced hair tools, giving customers more ways to incorporate the brand into their hair routines.

That growth has helped shape Cécred into a broader haircare business. Rather than remaining focused only on Beyoncé’s celebrity status, the company has continued developing products, retail partnerships and professional opportunities around haircare.

Cécred Already Has a Major Retail Presence in the US

The UK launch follows a major expansion for Cécred in the United States. In April 2025, the brand entered more than 1,400 Ulta Beauty stores.

The Ulta partnership was described as the retailer’s largest-ever haircare rollout at the time. It also brought Cécred services into Ulta salons, including hair treatments and education for stylists.

That move was important for the company because it expanded Cécred from its direct-to-consumer beginnings into physical retail. Customers could now find the products in stores while beauty professionals could engage with the brand through salon services and education.

Now, with Space NK joining Ulta Beauty as a major retail partner, Cécred is continuing that expansion strategy in another country. The UK launch gives the company a stronger international retail platform.

Beyoncé’s Haircare Business Also Supports Beauty Professionals

Cécred’s growth has not focused only on selling haircare products. The company has also invested in opportunities connected to hairstylists and professional beauty education.

In May, Cécred and the BeyGOOD Foundation announced the third year of the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund. The initiative committed $250,000 across the United States and United Kingdom to support hairstyling education and training.

That investment adds another layer to Cécred’s growing presence in the beauty industry. While the products are central to the business, professional education and training are also becoming part of the company’s wider work.

The UK expansion therefore comes at a time when Cécred is growing both its retail footprint and its connection to the professional beauty community. Together, those efforts point to a business strategy that reaches beyond product sales.

Space NK Gives Cécred Access to New Beauty Customers

The partnership with Space NK gives Cécred a direct route into the UK beauty market. Customers who may not have previously had easy access to the brand can now find its products through a major British beauty retailer.

For Cécred, the partnership also creates an opportunity to learn from and connect with a new market. The company can introduce its approach to haircare to UK shoppers while continuing to build recognition internationally.

Meanwhile, the expansion strengthens Beyoncé’s position as an entrepreneur in the beauty space. Her name helped attract attention to Cécred at launch, but the brand’s continued retail expansion shows an effort to build a business with a presence of its own.

The UK launch is another major chapter in that journey. From its original collection in 2024 to major US retail expansion and now the British market, Cécred is steadily widening its reach.

Beyoncé Continues Building Her Beauty Business Beyond Music

Beyoncé has spent years building businesses and projects outside her music career, and Cécred has become an important part of that wider business portfolio.

The haircare brand combines celebrity influence with a focus on hair products, retail distribution and professional education. Its expansion into the UK adds another international market to that strategy.

For Black women in business and beauty, the growth of Cécred also offers a notable example of how a personal brand can be developed into a larger company. The business is using retail partnerships, product development and professional programs to build a lasting presence.

With its UK launch now underway through Space NK, Cécred has officially moved into a new stage of its growth. The focus will now be on connecting with British customers while continuing to expand the haircare company internationally.
