Trina may be preparing to release her final album after nearly 30 years in hip-hop.

The Miami rap legend recently shared the news during an appearance on 99 JAMZ Live. She said she believes she has one more full-length project left.

“I think ima do one more album. I have one more in me.”

Trina has released six studio albums since her debut in 2000. Her seventh album could mark the end of her recording career.

Still, she has made it clear that music is only part of her story. Her work supporting young girls continues through her nonprofit organization.

Trina Says Her Seventh Album Could Be Her Last

Trina’s last studio album arrived in 2019. She noted that 2026 marks seven years since that release.

She suggested that the timing could make her seventh album especially meaningful. However, she has not announced a release date for the project.

“This is it, this is it.”

Her comments suggest that she wants to close this chapter on her own terms. Yet, fans will have to wait for confirmation before calling it her final album.

Trina has spent decades building a career that extends far beyond record sales. Her influence has remained strong across hip-hop and popular culture.

Trina Built Her Rap Career From Miami

Trina first gained attention in 1998. Miami rapper Trick Daddy invited her to appear on his song “Nann N***a.”

The appearance helped introduce Trina to a wider audience. She later signed with Slip n Slide Records and Atlantic Records.

Her debut album, Da Baddest B**h*, arrived on March 21, 2000. The project established her confident style and strong personality.

Trina soon became one of Miami’s most recognizable voices. She also helped create more space for women in Southern hip-hop.

Trina’s Hip-Hop Legacy Has Earned Major Honors

Trina’s career has continued to receive recognition decades after her debut. She took part in a Verzuz battle with Eve in 2021.

The following year, BET honored her with its “I Am Hip Hop” Icon Award. The recognition highlighted her long career and influence.

Miami also honored Trina earlier this year. Her hometown named a street “Still The Baddest Street.”

Trina dedicated the honor to loved ones she had lost. They included her brother Wilbrent Bain Jr., her mother Vernessa Taylor, and her niece SUGA.

Trina Supports Young Girls Through Her Nonprofit

Trina’s influence reaches beyond music through the Diamond Doll Foundation. The nonprofit supports young girls facing different challenges.

She recently hosted a free back-to-school event in Miami. The event offered school supplies, food, games, and music.

The work reflects another important part of Trina’s legacy. She continues using her platform to encourage and support younger generations.

Her community work also gives fans another reason to celebrate her career. Her impact is not limited to the music industry.

Trina Is Still Performing Despite the Possible Retirement

Although Trina has not released an album since 2019, she remains active. She has continued performing and making appearances.

She recently joined Cardi B on stage during the Little Miss Drama Tour. She also performed alongside Rick Ross.

Trina has even stepped into professional wrestling. She appeared on All Elite Wrestling’s Dynamite to support Diamante.

Those appearances show that retirement from recording would not necessarily mean leaving entertainment. Trina still has plenty of ways to remain connected with fans.

Trina’s Legacy Goes Beyond One Final Album

Whether her seventh album becomes her last remains uncertain. Trina has already built a career that can stand without another record.

She has spent almost three decades representing Miami and women in hip-hop. She has also turned her success toward community work.

Her possible final album could therefore feel like the closing of one chapter. It would not erase everything she has built along the way.

For now, fans can look forward to one more project from the woman known as “Da Baddest.” Whatever happens next, Trina’s place in hip-hop is already secure.
