The doll was developed with the help of Pat Houston, Whitney Houston’s sister-in-law and executor of The Estate of Whitney E. Houston. She also serves as president of the Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation.

Working alongside Mattel’s design team and Primary Wave Music, Pat Houston helped ensure the doll reflected Whitney’s signature style and spirit.
