“They could have gone to any designer in the world,” Kani told ESSENCE.

“Gucci, Fendi, Prada. But they came to Karl Kani.”

“It kept that athletic feeling,” Kani explained,

“but elevated it into something elegant and dramatic.”

The outfit blended streetwear, performance, and couture. Bold shapes and clean lines stayed true to Kani’s signature style. At the same time, the look felt fresh and refined.
