Tasha Smith Returns to Direct an Inspiring True Story for Netflix

Director and actress Tasha Smith is stepping back behind the camera for a new Netflix film that celebrates faith, redemption, and the power of belief. The project tells the real-life story of Lenore Lindsey, a Chicago bakery owner whose life changes after a miraculous event.

Written by Randy Brown, known for Miracles From Heaven, the film stars Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson as Straw, a woman who must face her past to find renewed faith and strength. She will be joined by rapper and actor Joey Bada$$, whose emotional depth adds fresh energy to the story.
