Tyra Banks Brings Hot Mama to New York City
Supermodel and entrepreneur Tyra Banks is introducing a bold twist to the dessert scene. Her new product, Hot Mama hot ice cream, is heading to New York City after making waves in Australia.
Hot Mama is not your usual frozen treat. It’s served warm and designed to be sipped instead of scooped. Banks plans to offer it in several busy locations, including hotels, museums, cafés, and department stores across the city.
“The world’s first HOT ice cream experience,” she wrote on Instagram. “Not a latte. Not a hot chocolate. But your favorite scoops, transformed into liquid, hot ice cream—Sippable, baby.”
A New Way to Enjoy Ice Cream
When Hot Mama launched in Australia in late September, the dessert immediately caught people’s attention. Some were confused, while others were excited.
“I’m still confused, do you drink it or eat it,” one fan asked. Another added, “This is actually genius because sometimes I let my ice cream melt so I can just drink it.”
Banks explained that this dessert is meant to challenge expectations. “She’s hot. She’s got a cold twin. She’s confusing a lot of people… and we love it,” she shared.
Tyra Banks’ Big Vision for Hot Mama
The launch has already drawn big interest from fans and the media. “People have been hitting us up nonstop,” Banks said. “My friends, fans, countless journalists in our SMiZE DMs—everyone wants to know when they can try it.”
Hot Mama will feature some of the flavors that first launched in Australia, including pecan caramel butter and buttery vanilla biscuit. Banks and her team also plan to release new flavors just for the U.S. market.
