Remy Ma Steps Into Streaming With Purpose

Remy Ma is carving a new lane for hip-hop with the launch of Remy Network, a digital streaming platform dedicated to celebrating the culture through storytelling, film, and television. The Grammy-nominated rapper officially unveiled the platform on October 7, marking a major step into media ownership and cultural preservation.

Co-founded with Roberto “Rush” Evans, a former Monami Entertainment executive, and Steven Ward, Remy Network aims to serve as a creative home for stories that capture the rhythm, hustle, and legacy of hip-hop. The platform will feature scripted series, documentaries, concerts, sports programming, and finance-focused shows designed to empower viewers.

“Everything I’m building now comes from a place of purpose,” Remy Ma said on Instagram. “Remy Network isn’t just another streaming service — it’s a home for creativity and collaboration. This network is about giving our community a stage to tell our stories our way and making sure those stories are seen and valued.”

A Platform Built for the Culture

Remy Network will operate as a free, ad-supported (AVOD) service featuring FAST channels (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television). Viewers will be able to enjoy curated, high-quality content at no cost, making hip-hop storytelling accessible to audiences everywhere.

To ensure smooth delivery and revenue growth, the network has partnered with OTTera, a global leader in OTT and FAST solutions. This collaboration will allow Remy Network to reach users across multiple platforms and devices while maintaining a strong presence in the competitive streaming market.

By doing so, Remy Ma hopes to redefine how hip-hop culture is presented on screen—offering a platform that prioritizes authenticity, representation, and ownership. The network also provides advertisers with meaningful opportunities to connect with culturally aware and passionate audiences through brand-safe programming.

Expanding Her Legacy of Empowerment

The launch of Remy Network follows Remy Ma’s growing legacy as a businesswoman and cultural leader. In 2022, she founded Chrome 23, an all-female battle rap league designed to uplift and showcase women in a male-dominated space.

Through Chrome 23, Remy has amplified the voices of female emcees, blending empowerment with entertainment. Now, with Remy Network, she expands that mission globally — creating a home where Black creativity and hip-hop excellence can thrive without compromise.

Her move into streaming places her among a growing number of artists using ownership to shape the future of culture. With Remy Network, she’s not just entertaining fans — she’s building a digital empire rooted in authenticity, empowerment, and legacy.
