Visionary Stylist Joins StyleSeat in Executive Leadership

Olori Swank, famous for her signature blue hair and celebrity clientele, is now the Head of Content, Strategy & Influence at StyleSeat. Her clients include Jeezy, Keyshia Cole, Childish Gambino, and Teyana Taylor.

After studying psychology, biology, and pre-med at the University of Georgia, Swank planned to attend medical school. A year off led her to a styling gig with Asia Cruise, sparking her journey into fashion and entertainment.

Now, she brings her creative vision and experience to StyleSeat, aiming to uplift beauty and wellness professionals worldwide.

StyleSeat Enters a New Era of Influence and Growth

For over ten years, StyleSeat has helped barbers, stylists, nail artists, and estheticians grow their businesses with innovative booking tools. The platform has already delivered over $500 million directly to beauty professionals.

CEO Melody McCloskey highlighted Swank’s impact: “Olori’s creative genius and ability to transform brands into movements make her the perfect guide for this new era.” Swank sees her role as more than a job—it’s a mission to give beauty professionals power and influence.

Her first-year priorities include increasing new pro signups, helping pros grow revenue, and encouraging use of AI-powered tools to maximize efficiency.

Beauty Professionals as Cultural Leaders

Swank believes beauty professionals are not just service providers—they shape culture. “Beauty pros have always been tastemakers,” she said. “At StyleSeat, I’m giving pros the stage and strategy to turn their influence into income.”

She wants the world to see stylists, barbers, and nail artists as cultural architects who shape fashion, music, and lifestyle trends. Swank’s initiatives, including workshops, city tours, and pro spotlights, aim to showcase these stories as roadmaps for success.

AI as a Tool for Equal Opportunity

One of Swank’s biggest innovations is integrating artificial intelligence for individual professionals. AI features like smart pricing and client matching allow beauty entrepreneurs to save time and work smarter.

“AI is the great equalizer,” Swank explained. “For years, only big corporations had access to advanced tools. Now, individual beauty pros can compete and thrive.”

This approach positions StyleSeat as more than a scheduling platform—it’s a revenue-generating and influence-building tool.

Building Legacy Beyond the Chair

Swank measures success by transformation stories, not just revenue. “It’s about beauty professionals owning their power,” she said. “From overlooked to overbooked, from service providers to cultural leaders.”

Her mission is clear: give every professional the tools, knowledge, and confidence to build not just a business, but a lasting legacy that extends beyond their careers.

“StyleSeat is where beauty pros earn more, influence culture, and leave legacies that outlive them,” Swank concluded.
