A Global Celebration of Love and Style

Temi Otedola and Afrobeats star Mr Eazi celebrated their love with not one, but three weddings across the globe. Their journey spanned Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland, blending luxury, culture, and high fashion into one unforgettable love story.

The Nigerian power couple, together for eight years before tying the knot, wanted each wedding to reflect their roots and passions. With designs from world-renowned fashion houses and settings that ranged from private family homes to the Icelandic countryside, their weddings showed what it means to merge tradition with modern elegance.

Monaco Marks Their First Wedding

The first wedding took place on May 9, 2025, in Monaco. The date carried deep meaning as it was the birthday of Mr Eazi’s late mother. Temi wore a custom Wiederhoeft suit with Briony Raymond jewelry, while Mr Eazi looked sharp in Louis Vuitton.

The ceremony at Mairie de Monaco was intimate and calm, reflecting their long relationship. After signing the papers, Temi changed into a Christopher John Rogers polka-dot dress for a celebration at Villa La Vigie, once Karl Lagerfeld’s home.

A Yoruba Ceremony in Dubai

Two months later, the couple honored their Nigerian heritage with a Yoruba wedding in Dubai. The celebration was held at the Otedola family home and included traditional outfits designed by Zac Posen, Lisa Folawiyo, Miss Sohee, and Oscar de la Renta.

Temi described the ceremony as emotional and profound, saying it was a moment that united their families and culture. Guests dined under a draped tent filled with chandeliers, lanterns, and Ankara fabric while enjoying Nigerian classics like pounded yam and egusi.

Honoring Igbo Heritage Through Fashion

During the Dubai wedding, Temi and Mr Eazi also paid tribute to his late mother’s Igbo roots. Temi wore a hand-beaded akwa ocha ensemble by Lisa Folawiyo, while Mr Eazi wore a matching Mazelle outfit. Together, they danced to live performances from King Sunny Adé and DJ Eude.

Later, the couple transformed the Otedola home’s basement into a lively after-party with a shisha lounge and ginger shots from their favorite Accra bar. Temi dazzled in a gold Oscar de la Renta dress, while Mr Eazi sparkled in a Toure Designs jacket.

A Romantic Finale in Iceland

Their final wedding in August was held in Iceland, a place the couple calls their favorite on earth. Temi walked down the aisle in a Fendi Haute Couture gown inspired by Audrey Hepburn, while Mr Eazi wore Saint Laurent.

The reception was designed to bring Iceland’s natural beauty indoors, with moss, volcanic stone, and waterfalls creating a surreal setting. Guests enjoyed a family-style feast and a surprise performance by John Legend, arranged secretly by the groom.

On their final day, the couple hosted a beach party at Hvammsvik hot springs, complete with DJs, geothermal pools, and iconic Icelandic foods. The Northern Lights appeared as the night ended, a perfect symbol for their bright future.

A Wedding That Blended Heritage and Modern Luxury

Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi’s weddings were not only about fashion and luxury but also about honoring their cultures. Each ceremony represented a different part of their journey, from quiet beginnings in Monaco to vibrant Nigerian traditions in Dubai and a dramatic finale in Iceland.

Reflecting on their celebrations, Temi said, “All throughout we honored our rich culture but made sure everything felt like us.” Together, they created a wedding story that merged tradition, modern style, and deep love across three countries.
