FEMMÈ Enters 250 Stores Across the United States
Celebrity stylist and beauty mogul Cliff Vmir has taken his brand FEMMÈ to the next level. The haircare line is now set to launch in more than 250 beauty supply stores across the country.
This expansion marks a major milestone for Vmir, who has worked with stars like Cardi B, Sexyy Redd, and Jazmine Sullivan. His influence now extends far beyond the styling chair, giving Black beauty entrepreneurs a powerful example of how to scale a business nationwide.
Creating a First-of-Its-Kind Beauty Hub in Atlanta
Vmir recently invested in a 3,000-square-foot property in Buckhead, Atlanta. This space will serve as FEMMÈ’s headquarters, combining retail, salon services, and warehouse operations under one roof.
“I wanted to create a space where I could handle everything in one place,” Vmir said. “This new space is about unifying my vision—styling, product development, shipping, and operations.”
The move comes at a time when the Black haircare market is thriving. Industry reports project it will grow from $3.2 billion in 2023 to about $4.9 billion by 2033. African Americans already account for over 85% of spending on ethnic hair and beauty products in the U.S.
Standing Out With Authenticity in a Crowded Beauty Market
FEMMÈ started in 2013 with a single $20 product—the now-viral Silkening Mist. Over time, the brand grew into a full haircare line, fueled by Vmir’s social media presence and his BET show “Wig Out.”
“I realized early on that the only way to make an impact was to be myself—relatable and raw,” he shared. “I made sure my brand had heart and hustle behind it.”
This personal approach helps FEMMÈ stand apart in a saturated market and connect directly with customers who value authenticity.
Using Celebrity Clients to Build Trust and Sales
Vmir’s work with celebrity clients does more than create buzz—it drives sales. He often applies FEMMÈ products during styling sessions, turning each appointment into a live showcase.
“Working with high-profile clients helps me build credibility,” Vmir explained. “But what moves the needle is when I use my products on them. That’s what creates trust.”
By merging style with strategy, he transforms his influence into a powerful marketing tool that benefits both the brand and his clients.
Lessons for Aspiring Black Beauty Entrepreneurs
Vmir’s journey from stylist to CEO is filled with lessons for new beauty entrepreneurs. His top advice: be relentless.
“Never take ‘no’ for an answer,” he said. “Set up your business properly. Build systems. Perfect your craft.”
He also warns against chasing fame without preparation. “When demand comes, you need etiquette, professionalism, and patience to handle it.”
Leading a Movement, Not Just a Business
The FEMMÈ expansion and Atlanta hub are more than business milestones—they are statements. Vmir’s bold steps aim to inspire the next generation of Black beauty professionals to think bigger and scale smarter.
“This isn’t just a business move—it’s a statement,” he affirmed. “I’m showing people what ownership and vision look like. And I’m just getting started.”
