BEVEL’s $25K Grant Returns to Support Entrepreneurs
A $25,000 grant is once again up for grabs for small business owners heading to Invest Fest 2025. BEVEL, a grooming brand based in Atlanta, has renewed its partnership with the event to support entrepreneurs making a cultural impact.
This is the second year BEVEL is offering the Vendor Marketplace Grant. The money will go to one small business that shows strong potential for growth and community impact. Applications are open now and will close on August 11.
What the Grant Can Do for Small Business Owners
The grant aims to help one entrepreneur scale their business in a meaningful way. Whether it’s hiring new staff, upgrading equipment, or funding a marketing campaign, the $25,000 can be a game-changer.
Breann Satterwhite, BEVEL’s Vice President of Marketing, said the company wants to keep serving its community in ways that go beyond grooming. “We want to uplift entrepreneurs who care about culture and people,” she explained.
Who Can Apply for the BEVEL Grant
Small business owners and vendor marketplace participants attending Invest Fest 2025 are eligible. The festival will take place from August 22 to 24 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
To be considered, applicants must show strong business potential and a clear cultural message. BEVEL is looking for more than just profit-makers. The goal is to support those pushing the culture forward.
A Look Back at Last Year’s Winners
In 2024, Double Dutch Aerobics won the first BEVEL grant. The business, run by Michelle and Sean Clark, turned a childhood game into a popular fitness program. The $25K allowed them to grow their business and reach more people.
Their story shows how the right funding can help small ideas become big movements. This year, BEVEL and Invest Fest hope to create another success story.
Invest Fest as a Launchpad for Black Entrepreneurs
Invest Fest has grown into a major event for Black entrepreneurs across the country. It connects small businesses with real investors and provides tools to help ideas become realities.
Abdoulaye Sow, Chief Operating Officer of Earn Your Leisure, said the BEVEL grant adds real value. “We’re not just showcasing businesses—we’re helping them grow,” he said.
When and Where the Winner Will Be Announced
The winner of the $25,000 grant will be revealed on September 15 during Earn Your Leisure’s Market Mondays podcast. BEVEL CEO Damon Frost will make the announcement live.
Interested business owners can apply now at investfest.com/bevelgrant. The deadline is August 11, 2025.
