Mariah The Scientist to headline Beauté Noir Festival 2025
Atlanta’s biggest celebration of Black beauty and culture returns this weekend with a major headliner. Mariah The Scientist will perform live at the fifth annual Beauté Noir Festival at Pullman Yards, giving fans one of the first-ever live performances of her new single, Burning Blue.
Known for her soulful voice and Atlanta roots, Mariah is expected to bring the perfect mix of emotion and energy. She leads a stacked lineup that promises to make this year’s festival the biggest and most exciting one yet.
The show is set for Saturday, and it’s already building buzz across the city.
Black-owned festival powered by Camille Rose and Wells Fargo
Beauté Noir is hosted by Camille Rose, a luxury natural hair brand that’s proudly Black-owned, and sponsored by Wells Fargo. Since its first edition, the festival has grown into a go-to event for Black beauty, music, and creativity.
Janell Stephens, founder of Camille Rose, shared her excitement:
“We’re excited to bring the energy of Beauté Noir back to Atlanta, where we can celebrate the rich cultural heritage and artistry of our community.”
Stephens added that Mariah is the perfect artist to headline this year’s event, as the festival honors both “our roots and our future.”
Full lineup celebrates music, style, and culture
Alongside Mariah The Scientist, the festival will feature performances from Chxrry, Toosie & Friends, Sonny Digital, Zeddy Will, Foogie Raw, Kodie Shawn, and Will Hill. The party vibe will be kept alive by DJ sets from Kiya Lacey, Kali Dean, Sky Jetta, Flockaland, and DJ Popo.
But the day is about more than just music. The festival includes a curated marketplace of Black-owned brands, where guests can shop fashion, beauty, wellness, and more.
There will also be a natural hair showcase, a signature part of every Beauté Noir Festival, highlighting the creativity, artistry, and power of Black hair.
A tradition of honoring Black excellence
Beauté Noir has spent the last five years building a strong tradition. Past festivals featured major acts like Goodie Mob, MC Lyte, Jailen Josey, and King (Kid Saiyan). The event has also shined a spotlight on fashion designers like Tristan Blake, Reco Chapple, and Alani Taylor.
This year, the weekend kicks off with a private Honoree Dinner on Friday night. Hosted by rapper and TV personality Young Joc, the dinner celebrates Atlanta’s most impactful voices in business, art, and activism.
Each part of the festival reflects the mission: to celebrate the full beauty and power of Black culture.
What to expect if you go
Expect a vibrant, stylish crowd. Expect powerful performances and beautiful hair moments. And most of all, expect to feel proud and seen.
Beauté Noir is more than a music event — it’s a cultural movement rooted in community, confidence, and creativity. If you’re in Atlanta this weekend, this is the place to be.
