Beyoncé is once again showing love to beauty entrepreneurs across the country. Her Cécred x BeyGOOD fund is now offering $10,000 grants to Black salon and barbershop owners nationwide. This new round of funding extends a hand to hairstylists and barbers who have kept their businesses afloat through tough times.
With a $500,000 total commitment, the fund will award grants to 37 beauty professionals this year. The effort aims to strengthen small businesses and uplift those who create safe, expressive spaces for their communities.
Cécred x BeyGOOD Opens Nationwide Grants for Black Beauty Entrepreneurs
Previously, the grant program was limited to five major cities like Atlanta and Chicago. Now, beauty shop owners across the U.S. have a chance to apply. Licensed cosmetologists, hairstylists, and barbers with at least two years of experience can qualify.
Applicants must show proof of financial hardship and business ownership. A lease agreement for a salon booth, suite, or chair is also acceptable. The fund especially encourages those affected by economic challenges to apply.
Each Selected Applicant Will Receive $10,000 in Funding
The $10,000 grants are not loans and do not require repayment. This financial boost can help beauty professionals cover business expenses, salon upgrades, or personal hardships. It’s one more way Beyoncé continues to empower Black communities through meaningful action.

More Than Money: Business Resources and Coaching Included
Alongside financial support, the Cécred x BeyGOOD fund partners with the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). Through this partnership, applicants will also gain access to business resources and growth tools.
Even those who aren’t selected for a grant might still benefit. A group of finalists will receive group business coaching and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification resources. These tools can open doors to new opportunities and partnerships.
The Beauty Grant Fund Builds on Previous Scholarship Initiatives
This effort follows the success of the fund’s cosmetology student scholarship program, which awarded $130,000 earlier this year. Both programs launched alongside the release of Beyoncé’s haircare brand, Cécred, in February 2024.
By combining scholarships and business grants, the fund supports both emerging students and experienced professionals. It’s a long-term investment in Black beauty culture and community business ownership.
How to Apply for the Cécred x BeyGOOD Grant
Eligible barbers, hairstylists, and cosmetologists can find the application on the BeyGOOD website. The deadline to apply is June 13, 2025. Interested beauty professionals are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible.
