Destiny and Dashia Oliver are shaking up Richmond’s streets with their unique luxury ride business. At just 25 years old, these twin sisters have turned their love for flashy cars into one of the city’s most talked-about ventures — RVA Hot Wheelz.

Twin Sisters Leading the Way in Richmond’s Luxury Ride Scene

Since launching in 2022, RVA Hot Wheelz has quickly grown into Richmond’s go-to rental service for three-wheeled Slingshots. These open-air vehicles, with their bold colors and sporty designs, offer an unforgettable ride for thrill-seekers and car lovers alike.

What makes this story even more inspiring is how Destiny and Dashia found success in an industry mostly run by men. Their focus and belief in their vision helped them break through, one ride at a time.

How RVA Hot Wheelz Got Its Start

The idea for the business came from their shared passion for luxury vehicles. Dashia, known as the “critical thinker” between the two, explained how it began.
“I was always interested in luxury cars,” she told WTVR. “We did a lot of research. We seen that there were no slingshot rental companies out here. And we were like, Why not us?”

Destiny added, “The number one thing was tuning out the outside noise and focusing on what we were building. We seen the vision.” That mindset carried them from a single Slingshot to a fleet of at least 13 by 2025.

Riding in Style All Over the City

Today, RVA Hot Wheelz offers pop-up locations and mobile rental services, letting customers cruise around Richmond, hit the beach, or even visit Washington, D.C. The unique design of the Slingshots — open cockpits and vibrant finishes — turns every ride into an experience.

“You can visit the beach, you can visit DC, you can go anywhere within our units,” said Dashia. Destiny added, “I want each customer to leave with a sense of relief, to let loose, lean back, and really enjoy the ride.”

Building a Brand That’s About More Than Cars

Beyond luxury rides, RVA Hot Wheelz is a symbol of resilience and entrepreneurship. The Oliver sisters created more than a business — they built a brand representing community, confidence, and chasing dreams.

“RVA Hot Wheelz is proof that Black women can do anything. RVA Hot Wheelz is resilience. RVA Hot Wheelz is community. We are RVA Hot Wheelz,” the sisters proudly said.

Even as the company gains recognition in Richmond, the twins are focused on expanding and inspiring. “Believe in your head that you can do anything, no matter what it may look like, no matter who may support you,” Dashia encouraged. “You literally can do anything if you put your mind to it.”

What’s Next for RVA Hot Wheelz

As demand grows, the sisters plan to add more vehicles and services while keeping their strong connection to the Richmond community. From their first ride to a growing empire of exotic rentals, the Olivers have proven that passion, hard work, and vision can lead to something big.

Their journey continues to inspire other young entrepreneurs, showing that with the right mindset, even a bold dream can become a thriving reality.
