Savannah James, wife of NBA champion LeBron James, is stepping confidently into the beauty world. On May 15, she introduced Reframe, a luxury skincare brand designed for all skin tones. The collection brings clinical skincare to the front while celebrating every shade of beautiful.
Reframe launched with three carefully made products: Pigment Processor, a brightening serum, Compression Complex, a daily moisturizer, and Circadian Cream, a nourishing night cream. Together, these products aim to help people feel confident in their skin.
A Skincare Brand Focused on Clinical Care and Every Skin Tone
Reframe isn’t just about looking good — it’s about doing good for your skin. Savannah made sure clinical testing was a major part of the brand’s story. She partnered with Howard University’s College of Dermatology to test the products on 50 people, ages 18 to 65, with different skin tones.
Savannah explained, “It’s for all skin across the Fitzpatrick Scale. I am a Black founder, but I thought about all people when I created this brand.” That promise makes Reframe stand out in a crowded beauty market.
A Personal Love for Beauty Turned Business
Savannah’s love for beauty didn’t start with this brand — it’s something she’s always carried with her. In a recent interview, she said, “To be honest with you, I’ve been into beauty for as long as I can remember.”
For her, creating Reframe was about offering something both educational and fun. “I really wanted to figure out what I could do to bring a product forward that was for the people in a way that was digestible, educational, and also cool,” she shared. That idea shaped the entire brand.
Packaging That Feels as Good as It Looks
Savannah didn’t stop at clean ingredients and clinical testing. She wanted her products to look good too. She admitted that most dermatologist-made products often look plain and boring.
“Coming from using things that come from dermatologists and aestheticians, it’s not sexy, it’s not fun,” she said. That’s why Reframe’s packaging draws inspiration from art, music, culture, and fashion. The sleek, modern design makes every product feel special.
Carefully Growing the Brand With Purpose
For now, Reframe is available only through its direct-to-consumer website. But Savannah and her team are thinking ahead about retail partnerships. She stressed that growth would be slow, steady, and thoughtful.
“We have some time. We’re keeping that slow and steady pace to think about where we want to show up,” Savannah explained. This patient, strategic approach is another way she’s making sure the brand stays true to its mission.
