Lynae Vanee, the Atlanta-born digital creator and cultural commentator, is stepping into a bold new role. She has been named the host of Revolt’s upcoming weekly news and commentary series, The People’s Brief. The show will premiere on May 20 and promises to dive deep into culture, politics, education, and entertainment.

This fresh platform will give Vanee a space to speak openly on issues that matter most to Black communities. It also continues Revolt’s mission to spotlight authentic, unfiltered voices in media.

A New Platform for Black Culture and Conversations

The People’s Brief will deliver top headlines and trending topics, mixed with Vanee’s sharp commentary. Fans can expect honest conversations on politics, social issues, education, and pop culture each week.

Revolt’s Chief Content Officer, Deon Graham, expressed excitement about the partnership. “With The People’s Brief, we are proud to give Lynae the stage she deserves while continuing to push the culture forward through authentic, transformative storytelling,” he said in a statement.

Lynae Vanee Brings Fresh Energy to Revolt’s Lineup

Known for her viral “Parking Lot Pimpin’” series and sharp cultural critiques, Vanee has built a loyal following online. Now, with The People’s Brief, she will connect with Revolt’s millennial and Gen Z audiences on a bigger stage.

“As a Black woman and creator, working with a platform that does not just feature us, but truly believes in us—that is rare, and it means everything,” Vanee shared. She emphasized that the show will tackle subjects people already care about, but in a way that feels authentic and grounded in community.

A Spelman Alumna Using Her Voice for the People

Lynae Vanee is a proud graduate of Spelman College, one of the nation’s most respected historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Her academic background and digital work have always centered around Black stories, identity, and social justice.

This new show continues that legacy. Revolt called the series “bigger than a show,” noting on Instagram that it was created “by the people, for the people.” The network promises that The People’s Brief will highlight “truth, real conversations, and the voices that deserve to be heard.”

Amplifying Truth and Building Community Through Media

More than entertainment, The People’s Brief will be a space for education, empowerment, and unfiltered dialogue. It offers a much-needed platform for discussing topics like race, politics, identity, and cultural power.

By teaming up with Lynae Vanee, Revolt is expanding its commitment to media that reflects real Black experiences and conversations. The show is expected to spark meaningful dialogue and give space to underrepresented voices in news and media.
