People Magazine Celebrates Beyoncé’s Country Era with Special Issue

Beyoncé has once again made headlines — this time with Cowboy Carter, her groundbreaking country album. People Magazine just released a stunning collector’s edition dedicated to the album and Beyoncé’s legacy.

The special issue, now available in stores and on Amazon, includes over 125 powerful images. These range from shots of her 2023 Renaissance world tour to exclusive photos from the Cowboy Carter rollout. Fans will also enjoy personal stories from select Beyhive members, celebrating the deep bond between Beyoncé and her supporters.

Cowboy Carter Secures Beyoncé’s First Album of the Year Grammy

Earlier this year, Beyoncé finally won the coveted Album of the Year Grammy for Cowboy Carter. This marked a long-awaited victory after years of being overlooked in the category.

The win also helped her break the record for most Grammy wins of all time. With 35 Grammys, she officially passed conductor Georg Solti, who held the previous record with 31 awards.

Honoring the Roots of Black History in Country Music

Cowboy Carter is more than just a genre switch. It’s a powerful tribute to Black contributions to country music. Beyoncé collaborated with Linda Martell, the first Black female country singer, to emphasize this history.

During her Grammy acceptance speech, she dedicated her win to Martell. The album shines a light on artists who’ve long been overlooked in country music’s story.

From Rejection to Reclamation: Beyoncé’s Creative Journey

Beyoncé has shared that Cowboy Carter was born from a painful moment when she felt unwelcome in the country space. But instead of backing down, she turned the experience into inspiration.

“I did a deeper dive into the history of country music,” she explained in a 2024 Instagram post. “It feels good to see how music can unite so many people while also lifting up our voices.”

A Tribute to the Beyhive and Global Impact of Cowboy Carter

The People Magazine edition doesn’t only spotlight Beyoncé. It also gives a voice to the Beyhive — her loyal fanbase. Select fans share personal stories of how Beyoncé’s music has touched their lives.

This celebration comes right as Beyoncé prepares for her Cowboy Carter tour, starting April 28. With this new era, she continues to break barriers and shape the sound of modern music.
