A New Voice Joins the Urban One Podcast Network

Torrei Hart, comedian, actress, and powerhouse entrepreneur, just dropped a bold new podcast. Her show, Brutally Honest with Torrei Hart, joins the Urban One Podcast Network, home to powerful Black voices. It’s funny, raw, and real—just like Torrei herself.

Listeners can expect unfiltered conversations and plenty of laughs. But there’s more. The podcast goes deeper, spotlighting stories and truths many Black women can relate to. From faith to fame, and struggle to success, nothing is off-limits.

Comedy Meets Culture in a Bold New Way

At its core, Brutally Honest is a comedy interview podcast. But it’s not your typical laugh show. Each episode features studio interviews with people from all walks of life. You’ll hear from entertainers, comedians, authors, spiritual leaders, and more.

The result? A mix of humor, wisdom, and real-life lessons. It’s cultural. It’s truthful. And it’s designed to move you—whether you’re laughing, reflecting, or both.

Torrei Hart Brings Her Full Self to the Mic

Known for her sharp wit and fearless vibe, Torrei is no stranger to the spotlight. She’s worked with legends like Martin Lawrence and Katt Williams. She’s hosted galas, led brands, and made her mark in comedy and business.

But this podcast is where she gets the most real. “You can expect to hear real, raw, funny, and honest interviews from my perspective,” she says. “My excitement is through the roof to partner with such an established iconic brand that is aligned with my vision.”

From Haircare to Health – Hart’s Hustle Is Real

Torrei’s no one-trick star. In 2017, she launched Heavenly Hart Haircare, a natural line for all hair types. Later, she created Skinny Bish Keto, encouraging women to live their best lives through health and fitness.

Her YouTube comedy channel, Pretty Funny Fish, drew thousands. She’s also produced short films, partnered with Russell Simmons, and developed unscripted shows. This podcast adds another layer to her legacy.

The Power of Black Women’s Truths

Torrei’s podcast isn’t just about jokes. It’s about giving voice to real-life Black women’s stories. The struggles, the wins, the messy parts—and the joy. She’s unafraid to ask hard questions and share uncomfortable truths.

And that’s what makes this show different. It doesn’t hide behind filters. It celebrates authenticity, culture, and growth. It shows that Black women’s stories matter—because they do.

A Strong Team Behind the Mic

The podcast is powered by a dedicated team: Matt Ables, Jeremiah Stewart, and Rashid Terry. Together, they bring solid storytelling, tight production, and a commitment to quality.

With Brutally Honest, Urban One continues to push the envelope. The network already hosts hits like Dear Future Wifey and Listen To Black Women. Now, with Torrei at the table, they’re adding even more realness and comedy to the mix.
