    A Gospel Icon’s New Chapter

Erica Campbell’s voice has inspired millions for over 20 years. From her days in Mary Mary to her thriving solo career, she’s used music to spread faith and healing. Now, with her new album I Love You and the Live Breathe Fight tour coming soon, she’s ready to uplift audiences once again.

“Music isn’t just about performance—it’s about healing,” Campbell says. Her latest work focuses on love, not as pain, but as God’s true gift. With four Grammy wins, she could chase awards, but her mission runs deeper. “I wasn’t called to trophies—I was called to people.”

From Duo to Solo: Finding Her Own Voice

Transitioning from Mary Mary to a solo artist wasn’t easy. For years, she and her sister Tina dominated gospel charts together. Stepping out alone meant rediscovering herself. “I had to see myself as me,” she admits.

That journey led to hits like Positive, where she boldly declares her identity. “It’s about knowing who you are—and who you’re not,” she says. The shift brought new confidence, proving her purpose extended beyond the duo’s legacy.

Faith in Action: A Trip That Changed Everything

Campbell’s faith isn’t confined to the studio. A trip to Ethiopia with World Vision’s Chosen program reshaped her outlook. Meeting children facing extreme hardship humbled her. “Being chosen by a child? That changes you,” she recalls.

The experience even impacted her kids, who asked, “How can we help?” For Campbell, that moment reinforced her calling—using her platform to serve. “Empowerment isn’t about luxury; it’s about perseverance,” she says.

    Unapologetically Herself—And Inspiring Others

In an industry that boxes women in, Campbell refuses to conform. “I can be a mother, artist, and woman of faith—all at once,” she states. Her message to young women? “You are enough as you are.”

With her new tour and album, she’s fully embracing her purpose. “Every stage is a chance to spread hope,” she says. For Erica Campbell, music isn’t just a career—it’s ministry.
