The Luminary Luncheon was the highlight of the summit, honoring influential women who are making significant impacts in their fields. Jemele Hill, Minda Harts, and Monique Rodriguez received well-deserved recognition for their achievements and contributions. Attendees had the chance to hear directly from the honorees during the “Conversations That Count” session.

Jemele Hill, a respected journalist and writer, shared insights into her journey, emphasizing the importance of authenticity. Minda Harts, known for her work advocating for equity in the workplace, encouraged women to speak up for themselves. Monique Rodriguez, founder of Mielle Organics, inspired the audience with her story of turning a passion for hair care into a successful global brand.

The summit kicked off with motivational remarks from Renau Daniels, BLACK ENTERPRISE’s vice president of Multimedia and Events Sponsorship Sales. Tunde Oyeneyin, known for her uplifting spirit, set the tone for the day with powerful morning motivation.
