Ashley Huston’s DreamWorld Bakes has officially opened its first brick-and-mortar bakery, adding a magical touch to Philadelphia. Located at 2500 Coral Street in East Kensington, the grand opening on January 2 brought together family, friends, and the community to celebrate this major milestone.
The Black woman-led bakery treated the first 100 visitors to complimentary Baby Spice cake bites, marking the day with sweetness and joy. A ribbon-cutting ceremony solidified Huston’s achievement, turning a dream that began in her home kitchen into a cherished community hub.
A Sweet Journey From Home Kitchen to Philly Staple
