Tamron Hall’s Extravaganza Honors Moms in Grand Style
Broadcaster Tamron Hall pulled out all the stops for her third annual Mother’s Day Extravaganza. The dazzling celebration paid tribute to moms and mother figures from all walks of life. Hall created an unforgettable experience that left audiences stunned.
This year’s extravaganza featured an impressive lineup of special guests. Two-time GRAMMY winner Tasha Cobbs Leonard provided musical entertainment. She also candidly discussed her path to motherhood:
“Becoming a mom taught me to let go…Then came Asher, who’d just throw his plate of food on the floor, teaching me that not everything needs to be controlled.”
Good American co-founder Emma Grede shared how motherhood enriched her life and career. Movingly, she donated $15,000 to The Adopted Closet to support its uplifting mission.
Picturesque Wave Hill Sets a Serene Scene
The breathtaking botanical gardens of Wave Hill in the Bronx set the scene. Lush landscapes and historic architecture provided a tranquil backdrop. Hall’s thoughtful venue choice added elegance to this heartwarming event.
Hall made inclusivity a priority, honoring moms, grandmothers, aunts and nurturing figures. “We wanted as many people to be celebrated and feel the love as possible,” she explained. The extravaganza treated audience members like royalty over two indulgent days.
A Personal Mother’s Day Tradition
For Hall, now a mom to 5-year-old Moses, the extravaganza is deeply personal. The Extravaganza celebrates the sacrifices of her 19-year-old single mother and other pivotal women:
“Without my mom, without my aunt, without Ernestine Rose…I wouldn’t be here.”
A Dream Opportunity to Spoil Moms
Surprise contest winners attended from across the country. For many, like Crystal Noble, it was “a very special experience” after losing her own mom. Hall focused on creating “dream” moments to honor all moms’ journeys.
