Crystal Renee Hayslett, the singer and actress known for her role in ‘Zatima’, has found incredible success with her ‘Keep It Positive, Sweetie’ podcast.

Through introspective dialogue and thoughtful discussions, the weekly audio series has become a popular platform for healing and personal growth.

A Safe Space for Introspection

Last year, Hayslett added the ‘Keep It Positive, Sweetie’ podcast to her repertoire, fostering a safe space for enlightening conversations. The show’s impetus came from her manager, who encouraged Hayslett to share her story openly.

“It actually was my manager, Dinorah Peña. She actually brought the idea to me,” Hayslett said. “She’s like, ‘I think it’s time for you to tell your story.'”

By addressing tough topics often brushed under the rug in the Black community, Hayslett has created a platform for healing and transparency.

Candid Conversations and Powerful Guests

Through candid conversations with notable figures like Will Packer, Pretty Vee, and Kirk Franklin, the podcast has resonated with diverse audiences.

Its first live taping in Atlanta featured thought-provoking discussions with David and Tamela Mann, Eva Marcille, and Devon Franklin on relationships, self-love, and growth.

“We’re really sitting on things that are real to people and sharing what we really go through on a day-to-day basis and what we’ve been through to get to where we are in our lives,” Hayslett explained.

An Electrifying Live Experience

The live taping was an electrifying experience for Hayslett, who was overwhelmed by the sold-out crowd’s energy and support.

After performing powerful renditions of songs like “If I Ain’t Got You” and “The Goodness of God,” Hollywood mogul Tyler Perry joined her on stage to express his pride in her success.

A Vision for Healing and Unity

Looking ahead, Hayslett envisions the ‘Keep It Positive, Sweetie’ podcast as a stepping stone towards her own daytime television show, creating a space for healing and unity across genders.

“My vision ultimately is to have my own daytime television show. I want to open that up and really bring us all together so that we can really heal together,” she said.

Through her authenticity and courage to address difficult topics, Crystal Renee Hayslett’s podcast has become a beacon of hope, healing, and growth for audiences worldwide.
