Rapid Rise of a Culinary Sensation

Jo Neishia Johnson and Kiara Simons, the dynamic duo behind Two Sisters And a Deviled Crab, have achieved an incredible feat by transitioning from operating a food truck to opening a full-fledged restaurant in Orange Park Mall, Jacksonville, Florida, in under 15 months.

The sisters recently commemorated their two-year anniversary in business, marking this milestone with a celebratory atmosphere at their restaurant.

Guests were treated to complimentary champagne during brunch, photo opportunities, festive decor, and the unveiling of new merchandise for sale. This occasion not only celebrated their success but also served as a precursor to their ambitious growth plans for the future.

Bringing Tampa Flavors to Jacksonville

Hailing from Tampa, Jo Neishia and Kiara were determined to introduce the iconic deviled crab, a staple in their community, to the culinary scene in Jacksonville.

Through countless iterations and recipes, they were able to capture the nostalgic taste they grew up with, and the rest, as they say, is history.

“I am humbly grateful for all of the people who continuously support Two Sisters and A Deviled Crab. Because of you, we are celebrating two successful years of being too bougie, in business! In this second year, we are placing a major focus on growth,” expressed Jo Neishia, reflecting on their journey.

Rapid Growth and Ambitious Expansion Plans

“These first two years have by far exceeded our wildest dreams for our company. However, because of our rapid growth, we are now confidently planning to expand to our second location by 2025 and want to have a total of 5 locations within our first 5 years,” shared Kiara Simons, brimming with excitement about the future.

The journey of Two Sisters And a Deviled Crab, from a food truck to a thriving restaurant within 15 months, is a true culinary success story. It showcases the power of passion, determination, and a commitment to delivering exceptional cuisine.

Moreover, Two Sisters And a Deviled Crab’s achievement is a celebration of Black-owned businesses and the importance of supporting and championing diverse voices in the culinary industry.

Notably, also, Two Sisters And a Deviled Crab has already captured the attention of online audiences, with local influencers visiting to showcase and celebrate the restaurant’s eclectic cuisine.
