Beatrice Dixon’s The Honey Pot Co. recently made headlines with its acquisition by Compass Diversified for a reported $380 million enterprise value. This strategic move reflects the growing significance of sustainable and inclusive personal care brands in the market.
Founded by Dixon in 2014, The Honey Pot Co. has been a trailblazer in the personal care industry, focusing on plant-based, natural feminine hygiene products and this acquisition provides The Honey Pot Co. with additional resources and a broader platform to continue its mission.
“Beatrice and her team have done an amazing job building The Honey Pot Co. into a leading feminine care brand that has distinctive category ownership and unique brand positioning,” Elias Sabo, CEO of CODI, said in a statement. “We believe they have tremendous growth opportunities on the horizon.”
Dixon, will continue to serve as the company’s CEO and chief innovation officer under its new owners and her management team will remain onboard. Dixon will also retain a minority stake in the company.
Dixon wrote on social media that the deal aims to accelerate Honey Pot’s “plans to become the largest personal care brand in the world.”
