A Georgia family is suing Southern Regional Medical Center after Dr. Tracey St. Julian decapitated her baby during delivery after delaying a c-section and using extremely excessive force.

According to the lawsuit, Ross went into labor on July 9, and her St. Julian, “attempted to deliver the baby vaginally using different methods including applying traction to the baby’s head.”

While attempting delivery, “the baby did not properly descend due to shoulder dystocia,” which happens when a baby’s shoulders become stuck in the vaginal canal.

The claw suit also claims that St. Julian “grossly” and “negligently applied excessive traction” on the head and neck of baby Treveon Isaiah Taylor Jr., who is named after his father, and “failed to do a Cesarean section in a timely and proper manner, resulting in Treveon Isaiah Taylor Jr.’s decapitation and death.”

After the baby’s birth, Ross and Taylor alleged that the physician did not allow them to hold him nor touch him.

“Hospital staff allowed the young couple to only view their dead child,” a statement from the family’s spokesperson reads. “During this viewing, their baby was wrapped tightly in a blanket with his head propped on top of his body in a manner such that those viewing him could not identify that he had been decapitated.”

Clayton County Medical Examiner Brian Byars told CNN that his office is calling on state officials to investigate the incident. He also told them that his office has contacted the Georgia Composite Medical Board “and requested that they also investigate three doctor’s roles in this incident.”

Of course, Southern Regional Medical Center “denies the allegations in the complaint referencing the hospital.”

We will see about that! We hope that this family gets swift justice. #BWLM💕
