Nicki Minaj continues to add achievements to her already impressive, decades-long career.
She recently gained her 23rd top 10 Billboard Hot 100 hit with “Barbie World,” a promotional song for the upcoming #BarbieMovie which features Ice Spice and 90’s group Aqua. The song debuted at No. 7 which was the exact peak of Aqua’s 1997 record “Barbie Girl” which Nicki and Ice Spice sampled.
This #7 debut earned Nicki the title of the rapper with the third most top 10 hits on the Billboard chart. The only other rappers who have more hits than her are Lil Wayne (25) and Drake (68) who are members of the same musical family.
What’s exciting as Nicki will likely surpass Lil Wayne this year when she releases her highly anticipated Pinkprint 2 album in November. Congratulations, Nicki! #BWLM💕
