We love this brief history lesson on Betty Reid Soskin from @briefbutspectacular 🙌🏾
Betty Reid Soskin became the US’ oldest park ranger, retiring after turning 100 years old last April. She worked at Rosie the Riveter/World War II Home Front National Historical Park to ensure that war work done by women of colour isn’t forgotten.
In WW II she worked as a file clerk for the segregated Boilermakers Union. In 2018 she released a memoir Sign My Name to Freedom.
